Fraternal Order of Eagles
The Fraternal Order of Eagles 3807 is offering a $500 scholarship to a 2017 graduating senior of Clarion Area. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who is continuing their education at a Career/Technical School and pursuing a degree of two years or less. Financial need and enrollment at the Clarion County Career Center will also be considered. Applications available at the bottom of this page and also in the Counseling office. Deadline May 12, 2017
Doug Mortimer Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship honors the memory of Doug Mortimer who served as a volunteer Assistant Marching Band Director for 16 years. Seniors must have participated in marching band at Clarion Area for a minimum of 3 years. Submit a 2-3 page double spaced essay - "What Marching Band Has Meant to Me". Deadline for submission of essay to the counseling office is May 1, 2017. Stop by the counseling office for complete details.
MikeRoweWorks Foundation's Work Ethic Scholarship Program
For the fourth year in a row, the time has come to announce another pile of free money available for our Work Ethic Scholarship Program, a program that gives scholarships to people getting trained for skilled jobs that are in demand. The Clara Louise Kiser Memorial Scholarship
Available to students who are or were residents of Clarion County during their senior year of high school, plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year, and have completed the FAFSA. Scholarships are awarded according to satisfactory academic achievement and financial need. The Charles and Dorothy Wein Memorial Scholarship

Horatio Alger National Career & Technical Scholarship Program
This program provides financial assistance to students throughout the nation who have financial need and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. Scholarship criteria also include high school completion by spring of 2017, Pell-eligibility, enrollment by fall 2017 with a commitment to pursue and complete a career or technical certificate/degree, and a US citizen. All award recipients must be a union member, dependent of a union member or grandchild of a union member in good standing of a local union affiliated with the NWPA ALF and enrolled in an accredited degreed program at a system of higher education for the 2017-18 school year. Mechanical Contractors Association of Western PA
Foster McCarl, Jr. Scholarship Program offers four $1,000 scholarships. Applicants must be accepted or enrolled in a 2 or 4 year program at an accredited college, university or technical college for the 2017-18 school year majoring in a Plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, Construction/Project Management, Architecture, or other construction related major. Scholarship in honor of Jamie Ellenberger was created in 1997. This scholarship was created to honor the memory of Ted Lawrence, a 2001 graduate of Clarion Area HS. Three scholarships will be awarded to a senior in a Clarion County High School who plans to attend a post-secondary institution or technical school. First place winner will receive $500, the second will receive $300, and the third will receive $200. Clarion University Scholarships
-Students with a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher and 1080 on the NEW SAT, a 1000 on the OLD SAT (Critical Reading + Math) or Composite ACT of 21 or higher will qualify for a Clarion Academic Scholarship of $1,000 per year up to $3,000 per year.
-Students in science, technology or math fields, very high achieving students and underrepresented students may qualify for a limited number of full tuition scholarships.
-Additionally the Clarion Foundation has over $800,000 in endowed scholarships to help students.
-Most scholarships are renewable for the student's remaining three years of school, provided he/she maintains a 3.0 QPA and earns at least 24 credits/year.
