Discrete Math

Discrete Mathematics is a 1/2 credit elective course designed for 10th-12th grade students interested in modern mathematical topics not seen in the standard curriculum. The goal of this course is to introduce students to the mathematical structures that are widely used in the computer and social sciences, such as the mathematics of logic, networks, social choice, and decision making. Applications and modeling are central and there will also be a heavy emphasis on technology usage, particularly in coding and programming.
Pre-Requisite: Academic Algebra II.
