Academic Geometry

Prerequisite – Academic Algebra 1.  Academic Geometry follows Academic Algebra I in the academic, college-bound student’s mathematical career.  This course is designed to accommodate highly motivated students in the study of written formal proofs.  The concept of proof writing is developed in a careful and a thorough manner, using both the two-column form and the narrative style.  A mathematical system is constructed from undefined terms, definitions, postulates, theorems, and corollaries.
