This course is offered as an alternative for seniors who do not take calculus, but have completed pre-calculus.  Students going on to careers in business, medicine, engineering, politics, biology and mathematics would all be candidates for this course.  Students will learn how to organize, analyze, report data, and make inferences.  Topics covered include frequency distributions, data variations, elementary probability, counting techniques, discrete probability, binomial distributions, normal distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression analysis, Chi-Square distributions, F distributions (ANOVA), and nonparametric statistics.
