Academic Earth & Space



This course is designed to give students an overview of the interrelated systems of the Earth. Topics include the use and creation of maps, methods of metric measurement and scientific procedures, plate tectonics and the movement of continents, mountain building, earthquakes and their prediction, volcanoes, the minerals that make up the composition of the Earth’s crust and the recycling of rocks within the Earth, and how the Earth's surface change.
